Hi, I’m Lisha Lou. For over 25 years, I’ve used the art of natural hair, most recently microlocs, to help women feel confident, seen, and beautiful. But my work goes far beyond styling. Through my nonprofit, Knot Your Average Academy, I support families, partner with foster and adoptive parents, and empower incarcerated women on their journey to rediscovery and independence.

Everything I do is rooted in one belief: everyone deserves to be seen, supported, and restored.
